We have been learning about Advent. We have learnt about the different candles on the advent wreath and has a go at making out own.
To celebrate the work we have done this term, Year 1 and 2 held an art exhibition for family and friends. The children had their final portraits, project books and clay portraits on display. Thank you to all who came to visit.
This morning Year 1 and 2 took over the school assembly to tell the rest of the school what they have learnt this term in their Discover project. All children did a brilliant job speaking loud and clear for everyone to hear. Well done everyone!

This Morning we went on an outing to the Isle of Man Art Society. We walked there as it's very close to school. When there we were given a template for a face and a ball of clay. We used the clay to create a portrait of ourselves. The ladies at the Art Society will put the portraits in a kiln and r…
We had a great time leaping like different animals at the Leapathon. Take a look at some of our photos. Thank you to the friends for organising a fun fundraiser. Sponsor money can be dropped off to the post box in the entrance.
Well done to all Year 1, 2 and 3 children for their fantastic Christmas production of 'Lights Camel Action'. The children worked very hard to learn lines and dance routines and all looked and sounded brilliant during every performance.
We had a delicious visit to the Pancake Cafe. Thank you to the Friends of St Mary's for organising another great event.
