Year 4/5 had a great afternoon celebrating our love of reading at the Family Library.
Another great session delivered by Isle listen for Year 4 and 5. Here are a few photos from the Year 5 session where they were focussing on Social Media and the importance of staying safe online!
Over the course of this year, Year 4/5 will undertake 8 sessions from Holly at Isle Listen. These sessions will focus around the main topics of Mental Health. We had a great start to our Create Project, spending the day looking at sculptures around Douglas. The children were able to identify the different shapes that had been used to create the sculptures and thought about the purpose of each the statues! We certainly got our steps in!!!
Well done to all of our Year 4 and 5 classes for performing 'Silent Night' for this years Christmas performance. Thank you to all the parents for providing costumes and coming to watch!

Year 4 has had a fantastic afternoon being young engineers. They carefully followed detailed instructions to create a portable drumming machine. They children worked in pairs and created drumming machines with different beats and rhythms.
In order to celebrate the end of our Create project Year 4/5 invited their families to come and see their final sculptures and talk about their learning. Thank you to all who attended!
