St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

Don't forget to vote for the new parent governor on Wednesday 29th January. There will be a chance to meet all candidates in the hall from 3.35pm until 4.35pm. Ballot papers can be brought and posted in the box. Each parent of a child gets a vote. If both parents are voting for the same candidate two crosses can be placed on the ballot paper. It is one vote per family - if you have more than one child at the school you do not get a vote per child. If two parents are voting different candidates an extra ballot paper can be collected at the office. If you are unable to vote between 3.35pm and 4.35pm your ballot paper can be dropped in to the office in a sealed envelope clearly marked election on the front. Votes will be counted after 4.35pm and the candidate with the most votes announced via the website.
