St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

At St Mary's we believe that the purpose of P4C is to guide children to be caring, collaborative, creative and critical thinkers. This will help children to strengthen their communication, thinking and learning skills, as well as positively impacting their personal and social development. We encourage students to take the lead in directing the discussion and teachers to act as facilitators and co-inquirers in a safe and caring environment. These skills will guide children to be lifelong, self-motivated learners that will develop their resilience, empathy and curiosity.
