St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

Today, some of our current year 4s took a trip to the Douglas RNLI lifeboat station. The purpose of this trip was to present the RNLI with £143.36, which was raised from the Sea Themed dress down day at the end of the last academic year. Thank you to all the children who brought in a donation!

The RNLI was the chosen charity for last years’ Year 3, as our topic was ‘Manx Wrecks and Rescues’. Representatives from the RNLI came into school and gave us lots of great information about what they do. Many thanks to Richard Coase especially for his time.
