Fire_station_pics.pdfWe had a fantastic time down at Douglas Fire Station! We learnt about how fire equipment has changed since 1666. A huge thank you to Douglas Fire Station for having us and to all the parent helpers who joined us. Take a look at some of our pictures!
To celebrate the work we have done this term, Year 1 and 2 held an art exhibition for family and friends. The children had their final portraits, project books and clay portraits on display. Thank you to all who came to visit.
This morning Year 1 and 2 took over the school assembly to tell the rest of the school what they have learnt this term in their Discover project. All children did a brilliant job speaking loud and clear for everyone to hear. Well done everyone!

A big thank you to the Isle of Man Art Society who welcomed us last week for a short art session. We have been creating some amazing portraits in class and on Thursday we were able to create a self portrait using clay!
