We value your comments and would like to address some common concerns.
All comments have been passed on to the Governing Body and Department of Education Sport & Culture.
Communication:
Since September we have prioritised communication with parents. We hope you have noticed a difference.
All communication will be available as hard copy, email, or via the school website: www.stmarys.sch.im
We aim to give at least 10 days notice but please appreciate there may be times when this is not possible.
Any suggestions on further improvement on Communication or any other school matter are welcome. A suggestion box will be available in the foyer.
Clubs :
A list of these will be available on our website at the beginning of each half term. This will commence after October half term.
Any letter issued can be seen on the website via your child's class page.
Parking:
This will always be a concern but we will continue to highlight and liaise with the Police and Traffic Wardens.
Dvds
We are unaware about the specifics of this concern, however, our aim is that Dvds would only be used as an educational resource, during wet playtimes or as treat ie. Goldentime.
We understand that towards the end of last term, to enable the decanting of classrooms, there were occasions were dvds may have been used to free up staff, this was unavoidable.
