Yesterday 10th October, some of our year 3s and 4s attended the first of our Viking Longhouse trips. The staff at Ardwhallan truly created a real-life Viking morning and afternoon for us.
We started with a talk around the campfire, then went onto a treasure hunt to find coded letters. After this we got to make bread and cook it on the fire and even used a flint to create our own fire!
A big thank you to our parent helpers and everyone at Ardhwhallan for creating this fantastic opportunity for us. Hopefully the weather will be sunny next week for the remainding year 3s and 4s yet to go!
