What an amazing day we yesterday! Our day began with a whole-school story read by Mr. Rotchell, aka Mr. Koala. We then joined a live-streamed lesson focusing on the book That’s MY Flower with author Alice Hemming and illustrator Nicola Slater. Nicola gave us a step-by-step tutorial on how to draw the Squirrel character from the book.
In the afternoon, we teamed up with Year 6, where we were given the choice to role-play a traditional tale or create our own story to role-play. To end the day, we enjoyed another whole-school story, read by Miss Magee.
