We had a great day at STEM Fest we explored 3 different rooms filled with representatives from different Manx companies demonstrating how they use Science, Technology Engineering and Maths within their jobs. We visited a Science room where by ,earning shells and examining animal poo we learnt about jobs in marine conservation, the wild life park and many more. In the Technology room we solved puzzles, had a go on VR headsets and tried coding. We also looked at filming a TV show and tried out some games from the past on some old computers. In the Engineering room we built a bridge, an ejection seat for an Angry Bird and learnt about water treatment. There was lots more but too much fun to mention, take a look at some of our photos.
