Y5 had a fantastic trip to Knockaloe Beg Farm a few weeks ago with the help of Farmer John, Farmer Fiona and Lucy! The children learnt all about the different animals on the farm before feeding them, and went on a fruit and vegetable hunt in the orchard. The children worked hard to make some delicious fresh apple juice, too! The children also linked this trip to our concept of legacy, leaving their own legacies at the farm by making sculptures! A big thank you to FOSM for funding this trip.
