St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

We have had such a busy and exciting week! We were very fortunate to welcome three different visitors into our classroom.

First, Clara from Recycle Collect visited us and shared valuable information about recycling, including why it is so important and how we can all play our part.

Next, we took part in a fantastic P4C (Philosophy for Children) session led by Nick Chandley. The session focused on developing our thinking skills and challenging ideas through meaningful dialogue.

Finally, we welcomed Charles Guard, a Manx coastal erosion specialist, who delivered a fascinating presentation about coastal erosion around the Isle of Man.

Needless to say, the children were completely engaged in every session. Each visitor commented on how wonderful the children were, praising their enthusiasm, behaviour, and thoughtful contributions.
