St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

This is one of three areas we have been focusing on this year.

This is our display of single use plastic and how it can damage marine life. We asked all children and families of the school to collect, clean and bring in their single use plastic from home to create the display. It is up in our chill room that all children can use at lunch time so it is seen all the time.

In the run up to Christmas when there was lots of glitter being used we created posters to warn people of the dangers of washing glitter down the drains. These are on display on the shared areas around school. The school will not be buying anymore glitter but continue to use up what we already had in stock.
