St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

This Morning we went on an outing to the Isle of Man Art Society.

We walked there as it's very close to school. When there we were given a template for a face and a ball of clay. We used the clay to create a portrait of ourselves. The ladies at the Art Society will put the portraits in a kiln and return them to us for painting.

This trip is part of our Create project 'Is it better to stand out or fit in?' where we are focusing on portraits.

We had a great time and would like to thank the parents who came with us and the Isle of Man Art Society.

Take a look at some of our photos.
