What a fantastic day we’ve had today! We kicked off with a whole-school story, led by the Smed and the Smoo. Back in class, we joined a step-by-step drawing lesson of the Gruffalo, before heading around the school on a Julia Donaldson character hunt.
In the afternoon, Mrs Cox read us a story without showing the front cover or title — our challenge was to create our own title and design a front cover. To finish the day, we joined Year 4 in the library for some paired reading.
