Today, we went around the classroom and visited different stations. At each station, we looked carefully at different objects and used adjectives to describe them. We thought about what the objects looked like, felt like, smelled like, and sounded like. Some objects were soft, fluffy, and smooth, while others were rough, hard, and bumpy. We talked with our partners and shared our ideas. Using adjectives helped us make our descriptions more interesting and helped the reader imagine the objects more clearly. We had lots of fun exploring and learning new describing words!
