During our CREATE project, we explored the artwork of Eileen Agar, focusing on her piece Fish Circus. Inspired by her creative use of texture and shape, we experimented with a range of artistic techniques zooming in on cutting, folding, scrunching, and ripping. Using these techniques, we transformed materials to create unique and imaginative artworks based on our own fish silhouettes. Through this process, we developed our understanding of texture, composition, and mixed-media art while expressing our creativity in the style of Eileen Agar.
