What an amazing day we had on Thursday! Our day began with a whole story read by Mr. Koala (aka Mr. Rotchell). We then joined a live-stream lesson focused on the book That's MY Flower with author Alice Hemming and illustrator Nicola Slater. Nicola gave us a step-by-step lesson on how to draw the squirrel character from the book.
In the afternoon, we teamed up with Year 6 and explored some traditional fairy tales. We were given the choice of either role-playing a traditional tale or creating our own story to role-play. To end the day, we enjoyed another whole school story read by Miss Magee
