St George had a great and really informative day learning first aid skills. Jill from St John's Ambulance came in to train the class in emergency and live saving skills. We learnt how to help a casualty with a serious cut, burn or someone who is choking. The children learnt how to put someone in the recovery position and how to perform CPR.
The class listened attentively and asked lots of questions to clarify their understanding.
Thank you again to Jim from St John's Ambulance. We hope we never have to use these skills but understand why it is important to know them.
