Last week the Reception classes walked to Nobles Park. We were exploring the colours of Autumn and what happens to trees and plants during this season.
The children explored the field and found examples of different coloured leaves. We noticed that some trees were still very green and had not lost their leaves.
These were evergreen trees, a bit like some of the fir trees we get at Christmas.
The weather was bright but crisp, we could tell Winter is not far away.
