St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

As part of our project we have been exploring habitats. The children have been learning about woodland creatures and where they might make their homes.

During our water play we have been naming creatures who live in the sea, sharks, starfish. fish, jellyfish to name a few.

We were very lucky to have some special visitors - African land snails and stick insects . We had to look extremely closely to find the 2 stick insects who were camouflaged on the branches of a bush. Can you spot one in our photos?

Who said learning isn't fun???? :) We had a go at creating some habitats using our blocks and natural materials.
