On Tuesday, Year 1 had a fantastic time celebrating Shrove Tuesday with a visit to the school Pancake Café, kindly provided by FOSM.
We have been learning about why we celebrate Shrove Tuesday and how it marks the beginning of Lent. What better way to prepare than by enjoying some delicious pancakes with our friends!
The children had a wonderful time, and we would like to say a huge thank you to FOSM for organising such a special treat!
It was the perfect way to celebrate Pancake Day together.
