St. Stephen's class recently had a special visit from the team at the Manx NFU, who came to teach us all about the Countryside Code and how to take care of our beautiful island environment.
The session began with a lovely story called "Jelly and Oof", which helped us understand how to behave safely and respectfully in the countryside, especially around animals and farms.
After the story, we were very excited to head outside to the playground—where we met some real farm animals! The children had the chance to see and talk about animals like sheep and even a baby calf.
It was a fantastic afternoon full of fun and learning, and we’re now much more confident about how to enjoy the countryside responsibly. A big thank you to the Manx NFU for such a memorable experience!
