Celebrating World Book Day!
Year 1 had a fantastic time celebrating World Book Day! We came to school dressed in our pyjamas or as our favourite book characters, ready for a day filled with reading fun. It was wonderful to see so many amazing costumes and cosy outfits—just perfect for getting lost in a good book!
Throughout the day, we enjoyed a variety of exciting book-themed activities, including making our own book marks and joining with Year 6 to write our own fairytales.
The children had a brilliant time celebrating a love of reading and it was wonderful to see their enthusiasm for books. Well done, Year 1!
