Year 3 Maths Challenge Day
On Friday 24th April, Year 3 took part in a Mathathon to raise money for the Friends of St Mary’s. The children enjoyed a range of fun and engaging maths challenges throughout the day.
When asked about their favourite parts, the children said they enjoyed “making mistakes and learning along the way,” working in teams, and tackling activities that included both “some that were OK and some that were tricky.”
A big thank you to the Friends of St Mary’s for organising such an enjoyable and worthwhile event. Sponsor money can still be brought in, and all money raised goes towards school trips and resources to support enrichment activities.
