As part of our PSHE learning, we were thrilled to welcome PC Lou, our local police officer, into our classroom last week!
The children had a fantastic time discovering how the police help and support people in our community. PC Lou explained the many ways officers keep us safe, assist those in need, and work together with others to make our neighbourhood a better place.
The children were full of curiosity and asked some brilliant questions. We also had lots of fun trying on real police uniform —helmets, jackets, and even gloves! The visit ended with an exciting chance to sit inside the police squad car, and yes... we even got to hear the siren!
It was a wonderful, hands-on experience that helped bring our PSHE learning to life in a fun and memorable way.
A huge thank you to PC Lou for such a brilliant visit!
