In maths, we’ve been learning about subtraction in a fun and active way! We set up a mini bowling alley using cups, then rolled a ball to knock some down. The children used the number of cups knocked over to write and solve subtraction number sentences within 10. This hands-on activity made subtraction meaningful—and the children thought it was really fun! It also helped develop important skills such as problem-solving, reasoning, and working collaboratively.
