St Mary's School

The children are at the heart of everything we do.

This term we were lucky enough to get to visit the Wildlife Park. The day began with a journey on a double decker bus, we could spot the little lambs on the fields and all the beautiful signs of spring.

At the Wildlife Park we saw the penguins being fed and discovered a couple of them had laid eggs and were waiting for them to hatch, it was very exciting.

The spider monkeys were swinging from the ropes and came to look at is through the window. I think they thought we were monkeys too! :)

We played a game deciding which animals liked the snow. We then had to post our token through the box at each animal enclosure.

Thanks to Mrs Molloy for sharing all her knowledge about the animals and habitats.

Check out our pictures.
