As part of our project on growing and new life, we took another walk to Nobles Park to see it in bloom!
The children explored the flower beds, which were awash with vibrant colours. They had their pencil and paper at the ready to do some observational drawings of the tulips and wall flowers.
The children were able to talk about the changes since their last visit in the winter: trees had leaves the flowers were in full bloom and there were more bees and insects about.
We even had a visit from a very tiny caterpillar, which had made is way on to my bag on the grass! The class were concerned he was looking for food, so we placed him back on a juicy green leaf!
