This week in Reception, we’ve had lots of fun exploring the world of dentists! Our learning has been packed with exciting activities:
- Writing Area: We’ve been practicing writing CVC words to build our early writing skills.
- Tuff Tray: The children enjoyed cleaning teeth and learning about how to keep them healthy.
- Role Play Area: Our budding dentists have been busy checking teeth and helping their patients!
- Creative & Play Dough Area: We painted teeth and created mouths using different materials, developing our fine motor skills and creativity.
- Maths Area: We worked on making numbers up to 5 and practiced our subitising skills by feeding the tooth monster lots of teeth!
It’s been a fantastic week of hands-on learning, helping us understand how to look after our teeth while building our literacy and numeracy skills.
