Our Visit from the Firefighters
This week we had a very exciting visit from the firemen! They came to school to teach us all about how they help people in our community and keep us safe.
We each had a turn to use the big fire hose and even got to sit inside the fire engine. It was amazing to see all the equipment they use. We asked lots of brilliant questions and learned so much about their important job.
We also tried on some of the firefighter uniform and heard the loud siren on the fire engine! Miss Patience and Miss Kelly even dressed up as firefighters, which was lots of fun.
It was a fantastic experience and we learned how firefighters are real-life heroes who help us every day.
