World Book Day in Reception
We had such a wonderful World Book Day!
In the morning, the whole school came together for a special assembly where we read The Smeds and the Smoos. The children really enjoyed sharing the story and joining in.
After that, we paired up with Year 6 for some lovely shared reading. It was fantastic to see the older pupils supporting the younger ones, and everyone enjoyed talking about the books they love and the stories they had been working on.
We rounded off a brilliant day filled with books, creativity, and enthusiasm. It was great to see everyone dressed up as their favourite characters — the effort and imagination were amazing!
